The Convergence Analytics Report has been created in conjunction with Incisive Media, one of the largest online publishers of business-to-business information in the world.

Based on a related cluster of changes in the digital analytics field, we believe it makes sense to review these changes in more depth, and to provide both marketers and vendors with an overview of a rapidly evolving industry. Among the significant changes driving the report are the customer’s demand for greater ability to see data from different sources in a single view; the increasing importance of data correlation; the lack of clarity between “Business Intelligence” (BI) and digital analytics; and perhaps most importantly, the emerging cadre of application vendors working to address these changes. Because of the combination of factors pointing to an identifiable new type of data intelligence practice, we felt it was appropriate to call this nascent field “Convergence Analytics.”

The report is based in part by a survey being conducted amongst both end-users and tool vendors and is a must-have for any vendor, practitioner or investor interested in this evolving market.
